".... Leroy has issues, we all know that, however recently he has been having overly anxious issues. He goes through these issues occasionally but over the last few weeks they have been kicked into over drive. When he has these overly anxious bouts he is in everyone’s space. He gets into licking modes where he is licking me, Plunger or Sherman and he just won’t stop. He jumps. He will also follow his target of choice everywhere, breathing heavy, almost like he is stalking you. Then he will just lay there and stare at you, breathing heavy.

It’s quite annoying to say the least. So during his last bout I decided to give him a few drops of the Mellow Out. For Leroy’s size I was to give him 6-10 drops either on his tongue, on a treat, or in his drinking water. I chose to put the drops directly on his tongue instead of on his food because he is a picky eater.

I didn’t notice a difference right away but within about 1/2 hour I did notice that he settled down. I tried it the next day and it had the same affect on him. It seemed to take the edge off.

I liked this product and I would use it again. ..."

" ... After using the Mellow Out in this way a few times, I've learned that it works best to sooth his mild anxiety when I give him it to him at the first sign of an impending storm. I don't wait till the rain starts or the winds kick up, and especially not until the noisy thunder begins. He gets his Mellow Out-laced treat before things outside get scary and he begins to quiver.

Finally, I'd like to add one last little tidbit that is very telling. While Tanner is never responsive to thunderstorms, we did have one weather radio report of a sudden and very nasty storm coming recently. I decided to offer Tanner a treat with his own dose of Mellow Out and sure enough, he snoozed through that storm like a drunken sailor--clueless. It was noisy and long, enough so that Oliver chose to camp out on my lap. But the good news is he wasn't shivering this time. He had his Mellow Out, and I could see it was working."

Most of us work away from home and sometimes we are away for almost 12 hours a day, some of us also require to travel and are separated from our lovely dogs often.  All these separations are very tough for your dogs especially for younger dogs.

Our essence Independence helps to ease separation anxiety when being removed from an owner, mother or herd members. "Another success story with Cris-Ease and the shelter dogs in Athens County, Ohio...Buster was a black Lab mix surrendered by his owner because she was "afraid he was going to bite her male visitor." Answer: Hello Eva, I had a Jack Russell Terrier, years ago, who was petrified of thunder storms. I did not know where to turn until I started using a product called "Mellow Out".  Are you familiar with flower essences?  They were developed by a doctor many years ago in England who realized that many illnesses were rooted in emotional upsets.  The "Mellow Out" is a blend of essences to help calm and settle agitated animals.  It worked like a charm on my little girl.  After a few months, I found that I did not even need to use it anymore for that reason.   I will just suggest that you use it when you hear the weather report, if you can.  It takes 1/2-1 hour to work....so the storm can be long gone if you give it to them as the storm starts. Easiest thing to do is to put it into the water bowl so they can free drink it throughout the day. Behavior Modification in a Bottle: Flower Essences have historically been used to balance and harmonize any emotional, psychological and spiritual states, these blends have been specifically formulated to deal with issues that large and small animals deal with.  They are easy to administer, safe to use during competition and will not conflict with any other protocols. Canine/ 狗: Collapsing Tracheas 氣管倒塌

What is Collapsing Tracheas?   什麼是氣管倒塌?

Collapsing trachea is a common syndrome in certain breeds of dogs and senior small dogs.  In the syndrome, the structures that support the trachea is weaken.  This causes the trachea to narrow during the course of respiration, leading to irritation and lead to coughing.  Collapsing trachea is a chronic, progressive, and non-curable syndrome.
